A Daily Commitment
to Safety

At Raymond, safety is our first and most important value. We strive to have safety be the first thought of the team when it arrives at the jobsite, be top of mind throughout the day, and be the team’s last thought as it rolls up at the end of the day. We have a well-developed Safety and Health Program to realize our Safety and Health Vision to be the safest specialty contractor in each of our market areas with zero workplace accidents.

The Safety and
Health Program

The Safety and Health Program encompasses the following items:

  • Establishing robust communications regarding workplace safety and health.
  • Providing workplace safety practices.
  • Conducting safety and health inspections to find and eliminate unsafe working conditions or health hazards.
  • Developing and enforcing safety and health rules and requiring employees to follow these rules as a condition of employment.
  • Training all employees in good safety and health practices.
  • Ensuring that every employee knows:
    • Their responsibility to work safely each and every day.
    • Their right to refuse to perform work they believe is unsafe without fear of reprisal.
  • Recognizing employees for safe practices or performance, and counseling employees for failure to follow safe and healthful practices.
  • Investigating workplace accidents promptly and thoroughly to find the cause and to make corrections so that they do not happen again.
Safety Recognition

Raymond works hard to maintain a culture of safety. This takes diligence and teamwork among all of our employees and partnerships. In 2024 our Las Vegas (May 6) and Northern California (July 30) regions reached 1 year without a recordable incident.
