This summer, Raymond is excited to have welcomed two talented interns to our team. Abigail Adkins, entering her sophomore year at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and majoring in Civil Engineering, is working out of our Las Vegas office and contributing to our estimating efforts.
Harrison Hughes, entering his junior year at the University of Alabama and majoring in Business Consumer Sciences/Entrepreneurship, is assisting our Southern California region as a project engineer.
To kick off their internship, Raymond organized a special Intern Day at our headquarters in Orange. The day began with a comprehensive tour of our office, warehouse, and yard, followed by a visit to the USC Keck jobsite. At the project site, Abigail and Harrison gained hands-on experience and valuable insights into a major construction project. This visit provided them with a deeper understanding of the complexities and challenges involved in large-scale developments.
After the jobsite tour, Raymond hosted an evening at an Angels game. This outing was a fun and relaxing way to end the day, and an opportunity for our interns to bond with their mentors and peers in a casual setting.
We believe this internship experience will be enriching for Abigail and Harrison, providing them with practical skills, professional growth, and lasting memories. We look forward to seeing their contributions and progress throughout the summer, as well as their future endeavors.
