As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on our accomplishments and the relationships we have built over the years. 2019 has been quite a year for us and we hope that it has been just as memorable for you, your friends, and your loved ones.

WE BUILT
From 2nd & PCH, to Legacy International Center, to the JW Marriott, we’ve been busy this year! On one of our latest projects, the Chase Center Towers, we helped extensively with engineering to ensure that elements would be built properly without sacrificing design intent. Raymond also led a new waterproofing approach in each of the towers, which was later adopted for the construction of the arena. Read more about this project here.

The new four-story Innovation & Instruction building at Cal State Dominguez Hills is set to open in the fall of 2020.
WE STAYED SAFE
Thank you to all of our employees and partners who commit to safety every day. In 2019, Raymond reached three years of operations in Southern California and one year of operations in Las Vegas without a recordable incident. Our California Experience Modification Rate was reduced from .67 to .60 and our interstate rate for our Las Vegas operations lowered from .67 to .58. Raymond focused 2019 on networking with industry partners to share safety ideas and build a greater safety culture among all the companies that we work with. Looking forward to next year we re-commit to being even safer. Our Safety Vision is 20/20.

Rebuilding Together
On National Rebuilding Days, April 26th and October 24th, Raymond’s Las Vegas office joined Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSNV), and their team of sponsors and volunteers, in providing critical home repairs for local low-income seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. Raymond was one of 46 volunteer teams tasked with revitalizing a total of 38 homes in Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Clark County. Over 150 Raymond employees and family members volunteered.
WE INNOVATED
Raymond continues to lead the way in construction innovation by using prefabrication to increase efficiencies on jobsites. By manufacturing framing and drywall components offsite, projects can benefit from reduced costs, an increase in safety, and a greater ability to stay on or ahead of schedule.
WE WERE HONORED
Raymond has been recognized with several awards this year. We could not be more grateful and honored to share these accomplishments with you. Among the achievements, Raymond was listed as a Top 50 Contractor by the Walls & Ceilings Magazine and a Top Private Company by the Orange County Business Journal. We were featured in ENR Magazine’s annual Top 600 Specialty Contractors List, ranking 7th in the Wall & Ceiling category and 158th overall.

Exterior Waterproofing, Lath and Plaster
This luxury condominium was designed for LEED Gold certification and blends in seamlessly within the historic Jackson Square district of San Francisco. One of the challenges of the project was the building’s L-shaped footprint that surrounds one of the oldest bars in San Francisco, the iconic Old Ship Saloon.
