Fontainebleau Las Vegas heralds a new era in luxury hospitality, anchored by a 67-story hotel tower with over 3,600 hotel rooms and suites. At the heart of the Las Vegas strip, the resort features a 150,000-square-foot casino, world-class dining, and vibrant entertainment and nightlife. Upon completion, it has become one of the tallest buildings in the city.
Raymond contributed over 1.2 million man-hours for W.A. Richardson at the hotel tower, theater, nightclub, and parking structure, as well as work across the property at areas including the convention center, bar and restaurants. Raymond remodeled all 3,600 rooms within the Fontainebleau tower.
A standout feature of the project lies in the intricate radius and elliptical ceilings and soffits at the hotel tower and nightclub. Raymond tackled the framing of the ceilings, overcoming challenges due to their unique shape. QML layout techniques were utilized to ensure precise framing, achieving a remarkable level of accuracy within a tolerance of just 1/8 inch.
Raymond executed a wide range of high-end finishes on the Fontainebleau resort, including Venetian plaster, gold and palladium leafing, and faux and lacquer paints. Each of these finishes added an extra layer of sophistication and luxury to the overall design.
The Fontainebleau project exemplifies excellence in construction through its unique design, creative use of materials, and complex challenges. The attention to detail, high-end finishes, and innovative framing techniques, makes this project standout. The successful completion of Fontainebleau Las Vegas was achieved through exceptional teamwork and innovative solutions.
