At Raymond we have some outstanding employees so we decided to feature them here on our blog. Our next employee spotlight features Jack Vaughn. Jack is a Taping Foreman out of our Southern California region and has worked for Raymond for 25 years! We sat down and asked him some questions. Here is what he had to say:
Most memorable/favorite project with Raymond and why: I have two! Both because they were challenging projects: The Ronald Reagan Courthouse in Santa Ana (it was also close to home!) and Cedars Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion.
Over your 25 years with Raymond, what have been the most significant changes that you have seen in the construction industry? The use of technology and improvements with safety standards.
Three words to describe Raymond: Quality, Integrity, Professional
What do you like most about your job and working in construction? I have enjoyed making lifelong friends and the challenge of new tools and new techniques.
What is the most challenging part of your job? Working in hospitals and not making a dust mess!
What do you like doing when you are not at work? Flying remote control airplanes, remodeling my house, and relaxing in the pool.
Before working at Raymond, did you have any other interesting jobs? You could find me helping my father run his drywall company and working at Wendy’s!
