Circa Resort & Casino has officially opened its doors as the first new ground-up gaming resort in downtown Las Vegas since 1980. The 1.25 million square foot property has six total floors with 777 guestrooms, an outdoor pool amphitheater with six rooftop pools, a two story casino, and a collection of dining and bar venues.
Raymond was contracted by McCarthy Building Companies to perform the framing, drywall, taping, painting, wallcovering and specialty finishes on the 1970’s-themed project. Raymond prefabricated the complex front of house ceiling systems, which included multistep soffits and amoeba shaped ceiling panels.
Prefabricating the ceiling panels shortened the project’s tight schedule by 9 weeks, while also reducing labor in the field by 77%.
