The Raymond Group was recognized at the 2016 Construction Excellence Awards by the Wall and Ceiling Alliance (WACA) for their completion of both the Macy’s Walnut Creek project, located at the Broadway Plaza Shopping Center, and the Facebook West Campus project, located in Menlo Park.
Raymond was awarded in the categories of Retail Exterior and EIFS for Macy’s Walnut Creek, in which their scope of work included metal framing, sheathing, and EIFS. The EIFS portion of the project included a complete EIFS re-skin of the existing facades as well as new EIFS applications at all new construction expansion areas.
Raymond received awards for the Facebook West Campus for both Commercial Exterior and Project of the Year. Raymond’s scope of work on the new 433,555 square foot building included framing, self-adhered sheet membrane (SASM), plaster, and exterior drywall and sheathing.
The Construction Excellence Awards acknowledge drywall and plaster contractors that have displayed quality workmanship on wall and ceiling construction projects in Northern California. Projects are judged by professionals certified by the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
