Raymond sponsored Norte Vista High School in the recent Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) Design Build Competition located at Golden West College. This year’s competition showcased 41 Southern California teams challenged with constructing a structure for an end user in the community, over a two-day period.
Prior to construction, each team completed the challenge of designing and preparing construction documents for the structure, which were submitted for plan review by volunteer community plan-checkers and architectural professionals.
On the final day of building, structures were judged by industry professionals on the completion of design, construction, code compliance, and safety.
